Starbucks Community Store Launched in Columbia, SC

This was an interior build-out of an existing building for a new Starbucks community store.

What is a Community Store? Call it a mixture of coffee and community engagement. Launched in 2015, the Community Store Initiative is part of an overall commitment by Starbucks to focus on providing more opportunities for underserved populations around the country. It’s a Starbucks cafe that also directly benefits the community through education, workforce development and job creation.

WEBMyers Construction installed all new flooring, wall protection, wall coverings, casework, custom millwork, lighting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, paint, wrap-around glass security door system, fire protection, fire alarms, POS systems, framing, concrete, sheetrock, insulation, stucco, wall mural, accessories, grease trap, outdoor seating area with lighting and exterior ceiling fans, and all restaurant equipment. Coordination with health department requirements and inspections was met and/or exceeded.
